About Us

We are a congregation of the Evangelical Covenant Church who seeks to nurture people that are deeply committed to Jesus Christ and engaged in Christ's mission in the world. Together, we affirm the Word of God, the necessity of new birth in Christ, a commitment to the whole mission of the Church, the Church as a fellowship of believers, a conscious dependence on the Holy Spirit, and the reality of freedom in Christ. Connect with our pastor to learn more about the community of faith or how to begin a new relationship with Jesus.

Simply put, we are a family. Like all families, we are made up of normal, imperfect people of all different ages and walks of life. You'll find a warm and welcoming community here, as well as relevant teaching, authentic worship, honest friendship, and prayer.

Following Jesus into the Father's love...

...sharing the Spirit's life with the least of us.

We are united by Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit to:

  • Love God with all our heart, soul, strength, and mind
  • Love our neighbors as ourselves, and
  • Go into all the world and make disciples.

  • Jesus Christ is our Savior.
  • We accept the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, are the Word of God.

We are part of the Evangelical Covenant Church. More than 800 congregations in the United States and Canada gather around the central truth of the Bible: you matter to God.

Set in motion in 1883 by Swedish immigrants, today we are a growing, multi-ethnic, intergenerational mosaic of churches with ministry partnerships in nearly forty countries. We join efforts in the hope of seeing even more people engage in a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ, across more populations, in a more caring and just world.

Our essential beliefs are summed up in what we call Covenant Affirmations:

  • We affirm the centrality of the Word of God.
  • We affirm the necessity of the new birth.
  • We affirm a commitment to the whole mission of the Church.
  • We affirm the Church as a fellowship of believers.
  • We affirm a conscious dependence on the Holy Spirit.
  • We affirm the reality of freedom in Christ.
  • The Covenant Affirmations and explanations are available here.
  • The Evangelical Covenant Church is:

  • Evangelical, but not exclusive
  • Biblical, but not doctrinaire
  • Traditional, but not rigid
  • Congregational, but not independent
