sermon series: Going back to eden
Josiah Queen crafted a captivating song that has captured my imagination during my six weeks away on Sabbatical. In "The Prodigal," he writes, "Like a Prodigal, I don't want to lose my soul, Chasing after things that don't lead me straight to you. I'm lost in the feeling that I ain't from this world, Going back to Eden, ain't going to be easy, but it leads me straight to you." The narrative the Bible has been conveying since Genesis 3 is about our journey back to Eden—the place of flourishing and the relationship we are meant to have with our Creator. In the coming three weeks, we will explore significant moments in this journey to unlock the path back to Eden, culminating on Easter morning, so we can experience hope and become a source of hope for the life of the world.
